Dear ASDS Friends,

ASDS has been, by far, the single most important external factor in my success—and I know I am not alone. Our amazing organization has provided structure and guidance to all of us, in one way or another, along our career paths.

As we look to the future, one thing is clear: We need to ensure our strong, vibrant organization endures and grows to guide the aspirations of the next generation of dermatologic surgeons.

I want to introduce The Legacy Circle giving program and invite you to join me in leaving behind an incredibly special and important form of financial support for ASDS.

The idea is simple: As a part of your estate planning, you leave a percentage of your estate to ASDS through a planned gift.

This program is an incredible opportunity for us to give back to the organization that has fueled and supported our careers since residency.

Many of us have our favorite charities and include them in our estate plans. Your current income or assets remain the same and you can change your mind at any time. There are also real tax benefits to doing this.

Planned gifts, gifts commonly donated through a will or trust, are designed to help you meet your financial and charitable goals while supporting the ASDS in the long term. It takes as little as one sentence to complete your gift. Imagine how that single sentence can impact the future of so many.

I am blessed to have a career I love, and the ASDS has been instrumental in my success. I want the next generation, and all those that follow, to have the same opportunities. By becoming a Legacy Circle member, you are creating a consistent, long-term source of funding for the Society while allowing your personal legacy to live on for future generations – who will enjoy brighter futures filled with greater opportunities because of your generosity.
